Office ditz: How do my files keep getting deleted?
IT guy, with gentle, sympathetic voice: Well… Most of the time it is some person accidentally deleting them.
Office ditz: But the only people who have access to the folder are Larry* and me.
IT guy: Well… Uh…
Office ditz: Is it possible that maybe my computer is overheating and deleting them? Or that I've got too much stuff in my personal folder? Do I need to delete some stuff?
IT guy: No, that's not how these things happen… Usually someone accidentally deletes them, or maybe saves them in the wrong folder or with the wrong name.
Office ditz: I just don't understand how these things keep happening.
